In 1943 Cartoonist Tex Avery created a trilogy of cartoons that centered around a sex crazed character called Wolfie. Wolfie is famous in the short, Red Hot Riding Hood, the first of the trilogy. Little Red Riding Hood is a gorgeous dancer/singer at a nightclub, and the Wolf falls madly in love with her and goes really nuts, to the point of making his cartoonish reactions famous. Wolfie’s outrageous response at the sight of the very sexy Red inspired many cartoons to this day, as well as the character from the Jim Carey movie The Mask.
