The world famous Adelita Bar of Tijuana was in full swing promoting their 4th of July party aggressively with many of their ladies out in front of the club enticing onlookers to come inside the club.  Every club and bar in La Coahuila had a Tijuana 4th of July party however not one club was so bold in their exhibition to promote their event as the Adelta Bar.  To say that they were stopping traffic would be an understatement.

If you missed the 4th of July celebration in Tijuana you may not miss the next partying of Independence Day of America south of the border after reading this post.  The Mexicans celebrate July 4th purely for an economic reason, not for one of national pride, but you could hardly tell the difference. Avenida Revolution, the popular tourist attraction was booming with 4th revelers enjoying the sounds of mariachis, the Mexican food, and the Tijuana experience.

Thousands of Americans have been venturing south of the border for the July 4th holiday for decades.  It is not just the purchasing of fireworks or the unspoiled beaches that allures the gringos, it is the valued partying. The modest cost of having a great time in Tijuana has long been its attraction for American tourists.   From as early as the beginning of the last century Tijuana enjoyed fantastic tourism trade, especially when Tijuana was in its golden era of the 20s and 30s.  With the opulence of the famous Agua Caliente Resort, Casino, and Race Track, Tijuana had the reputation as the getaway for the rich and famous only behind Monte Carlo.

It was the lure of having a drink and gambling during the U.S, Prohibition that bolstered Tijuana's attraction - not to mention having a great time for a little money and as well having sex with no strings attached with beautiful Mexican women.  Contemporary Tijuana resembles its identity from that era, an appeal that could hardly be overlooked on the past July 4th Holiday.
